Hi, I’m Angela Carlisle
I reside in what I affectionately refer to as “middle-of-nowhere” Kentucky. Just ask people who live twenty minutes away – they’ve never heard of the town where I live either. We do have a post office, a dairy farm, and a John Deere dealership but not much else. That’s okay though; I can sit by an open window and listen to the music of birds, crickets, and frogs with only an occasional interruption from a passing vehicle.
Growing up, I wanted to be a dietitian, but by the time I was a junior in high school, I knew God was leading me to a small mid-western Bible college. In 2014, I graduated from Ozark Bible Institute and College with a double major in Bible Studies and Biblical Literature.
For the past two and a half years, I’ve been working in long-term-care pharmacy. By day, I am a data-entry tech – by night, a writer. After nine months, I am nearly finished with my first suspense novel – hooray! Disclaimer: there are no evil pharmacists in this book. (I’m saving that for another time!)
In my spare time (yes, I do have a little of that), I enjoy reading, cooking, and assisting in children’s ministry at my church. Oh, and did I mention my love for tea? No day is complete without a cup (or two, or ten!) of properly steeped hot tea. Would you like to join me for a cup? Visit my blog and find out what I’m drinking today!
