I reside in what I affectionately refer to as “middle-of-nowhere” Kentucky. Just ask people who live twenty minutes away – they’ve never heard of the town where I live either. We do have a John Deere dealership but little else. That’s okay though – in good weather I can sit by an open window and listen to the music of birds, crickets, and frogs with only an occasional interruption from a passing vehicle.
Since I began seriously writing several years ago, several of my flash fiction pieces have been published in Splickety and Spark Magazines, and I am seeking publication in the romantic suspense genre. Recently, my unpublished novels have won several awards, including ACFW’s Genesis and First Impressions contests, as well placing in the top three in the 2019 Daphne du Maurier inspirational category. How cool is that?
Outside of writing, I’m a data-entry tech in long-term care pharmacy. And in my spare time (yes, I still have a wee bit of that…sometimes), I enjoy reading, cooking, and assisting in children’s ministry at my church. Oh, and did I mention my love for tea? No day is complete without a pot (or two, or ten!) of properly steeped hot tea. Would you like to join me for a cup?
